Premier League action saw Ashtonians 7-2 with Bolton Wyresdale, Burnley Bevedere and Rochdale St Clements share 4 goals and O.Boltonians 0-4 with leaders Old Blackburnians. Division One O.Mancunuans Reserves were 6-2 at Chaddertonians Reserves, Milltown and Howe Bridge Mills shared 6 goals,, Wardle and Burnley United was 0-4 and AFC Wigan 6-1 with Ashtonians Reserves. In Division Three Breightmet and Ainsworth were 2-2 and Howe Bridge Mills Reserves 3-0 with Wardle. In Division Two Oldham Hulmeians 3-2 at Rossendale Athletic and Old Blackburnians Reserves 2-1 with Radcliffe Town Reserves.. Division Four saw Halshaw Moor Reserves 5-1 with Oldham Hulmeians reserves, Lymm Reserves 1-1 with O.Mancunians ‘B’ and Milltown Reserves and Prestwich. 13th March 2024 LAL retain John Howard Shield in annual match with the L&C. Despite the weather, the LAL side put in an excellent performance at the Vestacare Stadium, taking a 3-1 half-time lead and a 5-2 victory. |
