The Lancashire Amateur League is a Grassroots league and was formed in 1899.
For the love of the game, and through the dedication and devotion of a committee of volunteers we are proud to have provided Saturday open age male football for 125 years.

County Cup action, as holders Winstanley St Aidans get off to a winning start with a 9-1 win with Sir Tome Finney adult Saturday, O.Blackburnians also go through after a 7-0 win at Croston Sports Reserves There were  wins for O.Boltonians, 3-2 at Bamber Bridge Reserves, Whitworth Valley 4-0 with Tarleton, Wardle 4-0 with Wigan Rangers, Halshaw Moor 3-2 with Euxton Villa Reserves. Burnley Belvedere were 2-2 at Shevington, but go through on penalties.
There were defeats for Burnley United 4-2 with Carnforth Rangers Reserves, and Bolton Rangers 3-2 with Whinney Hill, Horwich St Marys 4-0 at Blackpool (Wren) Rangers Reserves, Halshaw Moor Development 6-1 at Breightmet United ‘A’ and Boilton Wyresdale go out on penalties after a 3-3 draw with Atherton Reserves.
