IDEAS FOR IN-CLUB FUNDRAISING

Here are some ideas that your club could arrange to help raise club funds away from grants. Should you have any other ideas to add to this list please get in touch at [email protected]

Easyfundraising www.easyfundraising.org.uk Sign your club up and encourage your players and members to access sites using the club's link to get a small percentage of the purchase at no extra cost.

Raffles, football cards, Last Man Standing (one 3-team club raised over £1500 in one season), Bonus Ball.

Match day refreshments for players and spectators. A kettle and a fridge would see £££ coming in every week.

Race Nights can be arranged by events companies with some of the proceeds going to the club.

Darts/Table Tennis/Quiz nights.

Sports Memorabilia Auctions - there are companies that will bring memorabilia to your club event and will agree upon an amount that your club will benefit.

Sportsmans Dinners or Sportsmans Suppers

Club walk, run or a football match to attract interest.

Sponsorship or naming rights for the ground, the clubhouse and kits/training wear.

Football cards to offer local businesses the chance to win sponsorship for a small price rather than committing to the full amount of the kit or training wear.

Hold a mens/juniors/ladies football tournament charging clubs to enter.

Hire out facility for other local groups.

Wills - players and supporters are able to write in their wills to leave a legacy to the club which has given them so much enjoyment.
