The LAL is managed to break even or run at a small loss each season. Our committee members are volunteers and do it for the love of the game, the league, our clubs, players and officials.
The LAL always seeks to support clubs who are struggling financially and often the burden can be reduced by simply reaching out to us to discuss anything that we can potentially help with before it gets unmanageable. We are committed to supporting our clubs so that they can survive and thrive!
Often our clubs have found ways to fundraise or to improve their finances and we would welcome details of any successes so that they can be advertised to other clubs so that they can benefit too. Please send these through to Jon Twist 07718 520475 [email protected]
The County FA's have a wealth of knowledge on funding opportunities and as such we encourage clubs to visit their websites and send emails to the individuals who are dedicated to Facilities & Investment.
Please let us know if you have any other opportunities that you are aware of that we can add to this list. And of course, you might be part of a company or charity that is willing to assist your local community and clubs by offering an amount - small or large - that might go to assist the league or immediately to a club, a player or match officials that will make an immediate difference. We can help you get in touch!
Take a look at the links below (they are in no particular order) - clubs might just find something appealing. You don't just have to looking for help with huge projects such as building a new facility or looking to carry out pitch improvements to benefit from some of the links below.
Additionally, please visit our page for in-house fundraising ideas that clubs have done to boost their coffers and provide for their players. You can find this page HERE
The LAL will continue with updates and will endeavour to co-ordinate information and advice to clubs in order to share opportunities. We would be delighted to support any applications with a letter of recommendation or reference should it be necessary.
